Note: Smooth needs to hire better retouchers (or re-hire the one the laid off), because the morph on the cover with Maliah and on Solei’s waist in this shot is fairly obvious and has been commented on by several viewers.

It's no secret Maliah Michel is one of my favorite models (she was number 9 on my list of Top 10 Urban Models), and apparently she's one of Sandy's favs as well, since this is the second time she's been on the cover of Smooth Magazine. There's a bunch of great pictures of her in this issue and she also did an editorial piece in it, similar to the type Melyssa Ford and Esther have done in the past in Smooth. The subject matter is how to be a good stripper, which is a little strange. I guess Smooth figures there's no mystery about the fact that a lot fo urban models strip, so they might as well get someone knowledgeble to drop some science about it.

Anyway, if you like Maliah this issue is a must have. There's a number of pics that I didn't scan (just being lazy) so definitely check it out. I'm sure BlackJackSkanz will give this a much better treatment once he gets it. In the meantime, enjoy some Maliah.

Jacara is one of those models guys may dismiss as “average” on websites like RealTalkNY, but she’ll have the last laugh. In addition to recently gracing the cover of Urban Ink, she’s was part of the Akademiks ad campaign, has been on the cover of romance novels, as well as being in Smooth Magazine, SHOW and KING. She’s what you’d call a sleeper. She may not be packing 45” hips, but she’s steadily building a career as a working model getting legitimate jobs that a lot of girls would kill for.

Although it's a stretch to say any one girl is the lead in Drake's new "Best I Ever Had" video, Nikki B appears to get the most face time. Once again, this is a girl who has been floating around the message boards since 2006.

The consensus on the BET Awards Show this year seems to pretty much be that it sucked, but the one thing that did stand out in a positive way was Ms. Dynasty's performance with Hurricane Chris during the pre-show. On message boards around the net, guys kept asking "Who was the girl performing in the Halle Berry song?" As it turns out, Ms. Dynasty has been around for a minute. I remember seeing her early shots with photographer Aldrick Williams and being impressed. Amazingly, she's got over 100,000 Friends on Myspace.

Seriously, this girl's live performance was better than a lot of model's rehearsed, professionally edited music videos performances.
